NOTES FROM TRAVEL CHARITA
What does “starting from” mean for your holiday?
Use an indicative price to explore ideas, then compare the details of your personalised quote before making a booking.
By Travel Charita ·

A starting price is a way to begin exploring a holiday idea. It helps you decide which destinations and trip lengths you would like to discuss. It is not a confirmed price for your own dates, group or chosen accommodation.
Your trip has its own details
The final quote is built around your travel requirements. Dates, room arrangements, itinerary length, transport, selected activities and available accommodation all form part of that conversation. Two trips to the same destination can include very different experiences, even when they have the same number of nights.
At Travel Charita, the prices displayed beside suggested itineraries are indicative starting amounts per person. Check the sharing description and pricing notes on the destination page, then ask your expert for the exact price for your plans.
Compare what is included
When reading a proposal, look beyond the total. Confirm which hotels or room categories are quoted, which meals are included and how you will travel between stops. Check whether flights, entry fees, optional activities and any applicable charges are included or quoted separately.
If an activity is particularly important to you, ask the expert to identify it clearly in the final itinerary. A destination photograph illustrates the place; it does not by itself promise a specific hotel, room view or experience.
Make the amount easy to understand
Ask whether the quote is per person or for the whole group, which currency applies and what the payment covers. A booking deposit and the full holiday balance are different amounts. Keep the written quote and payment reference together so that you can refer to the same details when speaking to the team.
Confirm before you pay
Your travel expert will explain the available payment methods and the next booking steps. Check the agreed amount, inclusions and applicable booking terms before proceeding. If your dates or requirements change, ask for an updated quote rather than assuming the original amount still applies.
The goal is straightforward: a holiday you understand, at a price you have agreed, with the details that matter to you confirmed in writing.
